D23 Fan Event Dates and Locations
The D23 Expo is the biggest Disney fan event and is a tradition among the most committed fans. 2024 D23 Expo dates have been announced and we’re ready to start planning!
- Tuesday, March 26: D23 Expo Tickets go on sale.
- Sunday, August 4: D23 Day at Angel Stadium, where D23 fans are invited to attend the Los Angeles Angels vs. New York Mets game.
- Thursday, August 8: D23 Day at Disneyland Resort. Get your theme park tickets here.
- Friday, August 9 – Sunday, August 11: Shopping, exhibits, panels, and presentations will take place at the Anaheim Convention Center during the day, with the fun extending into the evening at the Honda Center, the bigger home to marquee shows.
If things look a little different from year’s past, you’re right! The upcoming D23 Ultimate Fan Event will be held at multiple venues in Anaheim including:
- Angels Stadium 2000 E Gene Autry Way, Anaheim, CA 92806 and just over 3 1/2 miles from Disneyland Resort.
- The Anaheim Convention Center 800 W Katella Ave, Anaheim, CA 92802 and about 1 mile from Disneyland Resort.
- Honda Center 2695 E Katella Ave, Anaheim, CA 92806, and just about 3 1/2 miles from Disneyland Resort.

It’s the ultimate Disney fan experience filled with shopping, celebrity sightings and signings, panels revealing upcoming movies, events and more for The Walt Disney Company. If you want to see it live and in person, don’t miss out!
2024 tickets are the most complex and confusing tickets ever, but do offer ultimate flexibility and choice. Here’s the breakdown.
If you want to do it all, see it all including shopping and panels choose from these ticket types ranging from $99 to $999+ membership fees in some cases:
- D23 Ultimate Fan Pass 3-Day Ticket $297+ includes a 3-day assigned seat for evening shows at the Honda Center and 3-day access to all experiences at the Anaheim Convention Center
- D23 Ultimate Fan Pass 1-Day Ticket $99+ includes a reserved seat for that date’s evening show at the Honda Center and same-day access to all experiences at the Anaheim Convention Center
- D23 Preferred Ultimate Fan Pass 3-Day Ticket $999+ only for D23 Gold Members, includes a 3-day floor seat for evening shows at the Honda Center (same seat each night), and 3-day access to all experiences at the Anaheim Convention Center

How much are D23 Expo tickets?
In 2024, tickets started at $99 for one-day admission and went all the way up to $999—more than some Magic Key annual pass types!
Do D23 Expo tickets include admission to Disneyland?
Tickets include entrance to the D23 Fan Event and NOT Disneyland Resort. You can get discount Disneyland tickets here.
Do Gold Members get a discount?
D23 Gold Members get an exclusive pre-sale window and discounted tickets. D23 Gold Members will also have access to additional benefits, discounts, and offers from various groups across the show floor and throughout Downtown Disney District.

Is there an Early Bird discount?
There are no early bird discounts for the event in 2024.
When will D23 Expo tickets be mailed?
D23 Expo badges and credentials are typically mailed about a month before the expo. You must activate your badge online prior to arriving at the Expo. There is also a will call section at the Convention Center itself.
How do I activate my badge?
You can activate your badge via the Expo App or look up your badge number and active it on D23Expo.com/activate starting about a week before the expo.
Can I pick up my D23 tickets at will call?
In the past: will call pick up was available starting the Thursday before the event and during most event hours. If you must use will call, give yourself plenty of time before attending any scheduled events.
How much were D23 Expo tickets in the past?
In 2024, the ticket types changed dramatically, along with pricing.
In 2022, tickets started at $89 for one-day adult admission and $79 for children. In 2019, general admission tickets were $89/adult and $69/child for one day. In 2019, Gold Member admission tickets bought during the early bird period $67/adult and $49/child for one day.
