4. Holiday movie favorites. Set at Christmas time, Godmothered on Disney+.

Godmothered is the quick, holiday pick-me-up we all need this season. Watch Godmothered on Disney+ this season. Grab the family and your favorite movie treats. Add glow stick magic wands for even more fun.
We watched a media preview of Godmothered earlier this season. But don’t worry, no spoilers here. We had all our favorite movie treats and some glow stick magic wands to go along with the theme.
Our house of teens and tweens really enjoyed the movie. We all laughed and cheered along on the adventures of Eleanor, a young, inexperienced fairy godmother-in-training (Jillian Bell).

Eleanor sets out to show the world that people still need fairy godmothers. Along the way you’ll see a new “Happily Ever After” unfold as Eleanor tries to help Mackenzie, a 40-year-old single mom (Isla Fisher) working at a news station in Boston.
Your whole family will love the laughs and the thought provoking moments in this holiday movie that gives us all the boost we need.
I’ve really missed going to the movies this year and love that Disney is releasing more films direct to Disney+ so we can enjoy a bit of normalcy.

11. Tis the season for feel good movies! Safety debuts on Disney+ on December 11, 2020.

This year we’ve all been through silent battles, out loud battles, so many battles we are tired of fighting. I’ve been working on trying to understand there’s always something we don’t know about in people’s lives.

Those battles play out beautifully and emotionally on the screen in SAFETY, a film on Disney+..
*NO SPOILERS* Safety is best for older kids like teens and tweens. The story line involves addiction and foster care which can be triggers to those who have close experiences with either or both.
That being said, I do feel they could have gone deeper with those points. They glossed over addiction and why it was so important for Ray Ray to make the decisions he did throughout the movie. But the script didn’t go there, opting for fluffier terms instead of labeling the reality head on, leaving viewers to fill in the gaps.

Safety disney plus

Disney adds, “The film Safety is a drama based on the story of former Clemson University football safety Ray McElrathbey (Jay Reeves).Through every challenge, Ray Ray shows dedication and persistence can bring triumph. This story of family, community and brotherhood will bring emotions to the surface. I sang along to the hip hop soundtrack and felt the highs and lows as Ray Ray succeeded on the field while raising and caring for his 11-year-old brother Fahmarr (Thaddeus J. Mixson).”
This is a movie you don’t want to miss. It reminds us that we’re all facing battles and not every battle is spoken or seen. But it also reminds me that we can triumph even when the odds are against us. I cannot wait to hear what you think of this new movie that everyone should see.
