Disneyland Snacks Voted Most Popular

Snacking at Disneyland could be my full time job. Anyone else ready to apply? If you want to try some of the most popular snacks at Disneyland Resort, I have your Disneyland snack list right here!

These are the snacks almost everyone says you have to try. To make the most popular list these snacks have to be available year-round and NOT as a special, seasonal treat. Let’s eat!

Disneyland Park Most Popular Snacks

Where can I get a churro at Disneyland? If you can’t see it, you can smell it. Disney comes out with new and seasonal flavored churros all the time, but you can still get classics at nearly every churro cart.

Disneyland Snacks Ice Cream

When the air heats up for summer at Disneyland, it’s time to cool down with my favorite treat at Disneyland—a Mickey premium ice cream bar. It reminds me of when Costco sold ice cream bars at the food court. And since those days are over, I prefer my ice cream Mickey shaped and wrapped in a chocolate shell.

Disneyland treats

Adorable Snowman Frosted Treats at California Adventure Pixar Pier has menu of $5 or less snacks. There are only two menu items that cost more than $5, and even then it’s not much more. Best known for the diary-free lemon soft serve ice cream, you can get a large in a cup or cone for less than $5.

Need somewhere cheap to eat for lunch? Try one of these 10 California Adventure meals for about $10

Clarabelle’s Hand-Scooped Ice Cream on Buena Vista Street has lots of menu items hovering in the $6-7 range, but in a pinch you can grab single scoop in a sugar cone or cup for $5.

cozy cone

Cozy Cone Motel in Cars Land gets your motor running with soft serve ice creams at Cozy Cone 2. Add toppings for a small fee and you’re good to go, all for about five bucks.

Gibson Girl on Main Street, U.S.A. has one menu item for less than $5 which is just a single scoop. Trust me, if you walk in here you will want more than one scoop (two scoops pictured below)! I suggest grabbing a Sundae for a little more and splitting it instead.

I know, I know the Dole Whip didn’t make the list. Even though it’s over $5 we still love it! I prefer the float version . . . and it you have littles, you can ask them to split it into two portions! What’s your top pick for ice cream at Disneyland?

Disneyland Snacks Healthy Eats

We use the term “healthy eats” loosely here. These are often better choices, but check out our complete healthy Disneyland dining guide and Keto friendly meals here too

Fresh fruit stands Disneyland

Bengal Barbecue in Adventureland has a little more oomph to their snacks. You can get one of their famous meat or veggie skewers for right around $5. I like the outback skewer for under $5, especially when I am counting WW points at Disneyland.

Edelweiss Snacks in Fantasyland has buttered corn on the cob, which you can also find

Fairfax Market in Hollywood Land has hummus with sugar snap peas and tomatoes, Cuties brand oranges, carrots and other fresh fruit and veggie items for less than $5.

Fillmore’s Taste-In in Cars Land has pickles, fruit and cuties—all under $5 and at zero points if you’re counting WW points

Fruit Carts, along with those listed here, you can grab fresh fruit for $5 or less at Disneyland:

  • Critter Country Fruit Cart
  • Fairfax Market
  • Fantasyland Fruit Cart
  • Filmore’s Taste-In
  • Main Street, U.S.A. Fruit Cart
  • Ship to Shore Marketplace
  • Mortimer’s Market
  • Tomorrowland Fruit Cart
  • Toon Up Treats
  • Tropical Imports

Tropical Hideaway in Adventureland hosts not only the Dole Whip (sadly, it’s over our $5 budget), but a pineapple spear, fresh mango and watermelon.

Eating healthy at Disneyland is possible with a little pre-planning. But if you must indulge, try sharing it with someone instead of eating it all by yourself.

Disneyland Snacks $5 or Less | Pastries

Disneyland pastries just seem to taste better than pastries anywhere else. Which one are you ordering?

Fiddler, Fifer & Practical Cafe on Buena Vista Street hits the spot when you’re serious about your pastries. Croissants, muffins, scones, cinnamon roll, you name it and they’ve probably got it. All these snacks for under $5.

Jolly Holiday Bakery Cafe on Main Street, U.S.A. is one of my top spots to eat for any meal or snack. Filled with assorted desserts like lemon blueberry bundt cake, mousse brownie, Matterhorn Macaroon, sugar cookies and more. You’ll be glad you made a Disneyland snack stop here.

Disneyland Snacks $5 or Less | Popcorn

Don’t even get me started on popcorn. It’s my obsession. The smell gets me every time I am near it.

Disneyland popcorn

My ultimate weakness can be found throughout the Disneyland Resort for less than $5 including these popcorn carts:

  • Near Carthay Circle Restaurant on Buena Vista Street
  • Central Plaza in Disneyland
  • Near City Hall in Disneyland
  • Fantasyland Theatre
  • By Gadget’s Go Coaster in Mickey’s Toontown
  • Popcorn at Grizzly Peak Airfield
  • Near Haunted Mansion
  • Near Hyperion Theater, take in inside the Frozen show with you!
  • At small world Promenade
  • Popcorn near Mark Twain Riverboat
  • On Pixar Pier
  • Near Star Trader in Tomorrowland

Disneyland Snacks $5 or Less | Pretzels & Carbs

I prefer the jalapeño stuffed pretzels from Refreshment Corner, but they’re a bit overpriced for our $5 limit. Here’s some other pretzels and carb loading you can do on a budget at Disneyland.

Mickey Pretzel

Bengal Barbecue in Adventureland is where you can sink your teeth into a Tiger Tail Breadstick topped with garlic, herbs and cheddar cheese.

Hungry Bear in Critter Country has fries and onion rings you can order to-go. You can also get fries at Smokejumpers Grill in California Adventure, Stage Door Cafe and Red Rose Tavern.

Pretzels are all that they are wrapped up to be, whether it’s in Mickey shape or your standard fare:

  • Bayside Brews in California Adventure
  • Pacific Wharf Distribution Co.
  • On Big Thunder Trail near Big Thunder Mountain Railroad
  • Pretzels near Hyperion Theater
  • At small world Promenade
  • Pretzels near Star Tours – The Adventures Continue
  • Refreshment Corner on Main Street, U.S.A.

Before you go, be sure to get your discount Disneyland tickets from my ticket partner and to help you stay on a budget even more, I suggest getting Disney Gift Cards and use those only for snacks. Once the money runs out, snacks to do.
