Can you ride everything at Disneyland in ONE DAY? How fast can you do it?
MiceChat’s annual Gumball Rally asks those questions and more as teams race through Disneyland to experience as many attractions as possible, earning points as they go.
Do you have what it takes to race against 300+ other people (in teams) and be proclaimed the Gumball Rally winner?
I raced through Disneyland Park and decided whether to hit Peter Pan’s Flight first or Indiana Jones Adventure, along with figuring out where to stop for the quickest bite to eat (Corn Dogs anyone?) as I made my way to Pirates Lair on Tom Sawyer Island.
It was my first time competing in the Gumball Rally and it was beyond amazing.
Race Through Disneyland Details
The Gumball Rally is put on by MiceChat, the Internet’s premier resource for Disneyland Resort rumors and news. The Gumball Rally is in its 12th year and every year people participating say it’s the most fun they’ve ever had at Disneyland!
When I received the invite to race (as a media member), I immediately started thinking of teammates. And if you’re thinking of racing, you should start planning your team too! I made mental note of a handful of people I know who are as Disneyland obsessed as I am and who I would love spending a full day racing through Disneyland.
My friend Melissa from high school was all over it when I extended the invite. Guys, she even missed her sister’s engagement party to race through Disneyland with me. It’s okay, her sister totally supports her Disneyland addiction :).
Who’s Invited to Race Through Disneyland?
You! Each person 8 years or older must be a registered part of your team. Valid theme park admission is required for all participants.
Wait, what? Gumball Rally costs money? Yes, but don’t let that sway you! The registration fee goes completely back into the event itself, including the after-party with lots of fun and more prizes. It is so much fun, you don’t want to miss this!
What’s this Race Through Disneyland All About?
Mostly, it’s about having fun while racing through Disneyland to complete as many attractions as possible in one day. There’s no trivia studying required and past winners have come from all age groups and combinations of family, friends and new Disney friends. Points are awarded for each attraction and for questions you’ll answer as you ride!
Plus there’s always some fun twists involved like no MaxPass, no cell phones and team members must stay together during the race! How crazy fun is that? Read more about past Gumball Rally events here.
