Splitsville Bowling at Disneyland Resort

Bowling at Disneyland Resort? Yes! And we’re not talking your mama’s bowling (although embroidered Mickey ears and a chic retro influences are totally chill here). Splitsville Luxury Lanes is more than just bowling —it’s an entirely new experience.

Before we dive into bowling at Disneyland in a written review, watch the replay of my live video including fresh food delivered to our table and my bowling skills ;). View our entire series on best places to eat at Downtown Disney here.

It’s not really fair to title this section “basics” because Splitsville in Anaheim is anything but basic. You’ll find Splitsville at Downtown Disney District inside the Disneyland Resort. Splitsville Luxury Lanes opens daily at 10:45 am for dining and bowling and closes late into the night!

Ready to eat? Book a table at one of the many dining areas at Splitsville which boasts two bars, two kitchens and a covered patio with a stage that is soon to feature live music every day of the year. Walk up dining is also available, so don’t hesitate to stop by. Book your dining reservation here.

Ready to bowl? With 20 bowling lanes, there’s sure to be one for you and your group of up to 8 people. I love that your bowling is done by time, not by game. For our group of 4 we were able to get in a few games plus eat dinner during that time. My only tip for bowling and dining? Eat everything you can with a fork and/or keep hand sanitizer at the ready. I was wondering why my husband kept eating fries with a fork until I ate some and then had to put my fingers in a bowling ball I was sharing with the next lane. Ewww.

Advance bowling reservations can accommodate large groups as well! Keep reading for details . . .

Ready for a party? Splitsville is totally party-ready. You can make reservations for private events like birthdays, bachelor parties and more. They even have a sweet VIP Lounge for larger private parties, complete with your own bowling lanes.

Bowling at Disneyland: Atmosphere

California coast and mid-century modern take center stage here at Splitsville Luxury Lanes. I love how the bowling lanes aren’t just all 20 in a row—the unique set up has lanes scattered throughout so you can enjoy private and semi-private bowling areas. There’s plenty of comfortable seating at every lane so you can dine, bowl and still be comfortable.Downtown Disney Bowling seating

Bowling at Disneyland: MenuSplitsville menu

Is there anything that’s not on the menu here at Splitsville? I am glad I brought my husband and another couple for a double date at Splitsville in Anaheim, because we were able to try a few more items that I could have consumed alone. The menu is like a huge party. You’ve got everything from freshly prepared pizza (the dough is made every day on site) to in-house prepped sushi. Yup, legit sushi at a bowling alley and I am not complaining!

We ordered:

  • loaded fries (a must for an indulgent appetizer)
  • California crunch roll sushi
  • Super tuna sushi and . . .

My favorite item on the menu: Fig & Prosciutto pizza. Oh my goodness, I am still drooling over it! Mozzarella, goat cheese, fresh figs, fig jam, maraschino onions and prosciutto topped with dressed arugula. I don’t think I’ve ever had goat cheese on a pizza (or maybe even ever?!) and it made the pizza even more delicious! The figs added an unexpected, slight sweetness to the pizza. It. Is. Everything. This pizza visits me in my dreams.

One of the managers onsite recommended this pizza to us and I am so glad we listened! We also ordered some mocktails and sodas to toast our night at Splitsville.Disneyland bowling alley

There’s so many restaurants to try at Disneyland Resort, but this is one I will go back to again and again. Well, because Fig & Prosciutto Pizza. We also ordered a delicious sundae for dessert. We split it 4 ways and had plenty to share. I opted for the leftover melted and mixed part—that’s my favorite!

Bowling at Disneyland: Extras

Disney bowling ball

What good is bowling at Disneyland Resort if there’s no magic involved? Trust me, Splitsville Luxury Lanes gets it right with this one. There’s definitely a sophisticated-fun (shout out to Missy Elliot) flavor happening here. Disney inspired bowling balls, souvenir bowling pin sipper cups in an atmosphere made for everyone. Splitsville bowling
