GCH Craftsman Bar & Grill is the newest chill spot at Disneyland Resort, located at the Grand Californian Hotel.
We’re talking fresh bites in California infused cuisines at the all new Craftsman Bar & Grill. These two distinctive eateries at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel can be enjoyed by anyone, even without a park ticket. No reservations needed, walk up seating only.
GCH Craftsman Bar & Grill Atmosphere
First let’s clarify, there are two different venues here but they are right next to each other at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel.
GCH Craftsman Bar
All ages welcome, but only those 21+ can sit at the actual bar. You’ll dine outdoors on the patio of the Grand Californian Pool. In the evening, experience live music and a lively crowd. Tables and lounge areas provide comfortable seating. Read more about the inspiration behind the bar here.
GCH Craftsman Grill
All ages welcome and no reservations needed. Come in here for a quick bite if you’re staying at the Grand Californian, or if you’re popping over from California Adventure for a meal. Dine indoors with ample seating for families and friends.

This video was filmed before the re-brand, but accurately depicts some of the grab and go items you can pick up here.Want the entire menu for Craftsman Grill inside the Grand? Find the full menu here.
GCH Crafsman Bar has many of the same menu items as the grill next-door, but offers a wide variety of drinks as well.
I ordered the Citrus Grape Spritzer to start. We loved sitting in comfy outdoor chairs and shared a table with another family. They don’t always seat you with others, but the set up makes it comfortable and casual.
We became quick friends with out neighbors and have a great time sampling food from our order and theirs. That’s how tight we became :).
From kids grilled cheeses, to chicken wings, to sliders, pizza and more. We enjoyed every last bite.
I also ordered the now famous Lobster Quesadilla. It’s even better than it looks.
Craftsman doesn’t slack on drinks or dessert.
I had to top it off with chocolate chip cookie fingers and shared then with a couple of other tables as well.
GCH Craftsman Bar & Grill Bonus
I mentioned the live music earlier, but if you’re lucky enough to stop by when these two are here, you’re in for a huge treat.
This duo keeps things lively and entertaining almost every night of the week. If you happen to find out who they are, let me know so I can give them proper credit for the amazing job they do.
Another bonus of Craftsman Bar is getting extra food or dessert packaged to-go. You won’t want to leave any of that goodness behind. And if you’re going to the grill side of Craftsman, mobile ordering is available.
Is Craftsman Bar & Grill a must-do during your Disneyland Resort vacation, I’d say it’s a big yes for me!
