Disneyland Holiday churro guide has arrived, because we made it ourselves! These delicious churros top off a jolly good time during the holidays whether at Disneyland or at home.
Each make at home churro is inspired by ones created at Disneyland Resort and our favorite Disney celebrations. Use these to recreate step by step at home or just as inspiration to come up with your own churro flavors during the holidays.
Whether you’re going to Disneyland Resort during the holidays or not, experiencing Festival of Holidays or not, there’s one thing that I won’t let us miss out on and that’s the churros!
Every year the chefs and culinary teams at Disneyland Resort out-do themselves with amazing eats and treats all around the resort. But this year, the task is up to you to create Disneyland Holiday memories with Disney inspired treats.
Small World Holiday Disneyland Churro
This churro is inspired by “it’s a small world” Holiday that transforms our usual ride to a holiday version every winter in Fantasyland. Over 50,000 holiday lights fill every spot on the outside of “it’s a small world”, including the inside which gets a makeover of music and decor.
When all is said and done, the ride and area surrounding the attraction has more than 400,000 lights.
To make our small world Holiday Churro you’ll need:
- Churros. Make your own or pick them up at Del Taco (ready to eat) or Walmart, Smart & Final or Aldi frozen food departments.
- Holiday sprinkles that mimic the colors of lights on “it’s a small world” Holiday.
- Red frosting thinned down with a bit of milk and warmed up for easy drizzling.

Traditionally you’ll find churro bites at the Cozy Cone in Cars Land. This churro pays homage to the Season’s Speedings post card at the entrance to Cars Land each winter.
This churro reminds us of not only the postcard, but of McQueen’s first visit to Radiator Spring and how we tried to bust outta town but ended up tearing up the road.
To make our Season’s Speedings Churro you’ll need:
- Churros. Make your own or pick them up at Del Taco (ready to eat) or Walmart, Smart & Final or Aldi frozen food departments.
- Crushed Oreos mimicking the look of Route 66.
