It’s not hard to eat gluten free at Disneyland Resort. Whether it is a personal choice or a dietary need for those with Celiac disease, Disneyland Resort has a wide variety of gluten free options for your vacation.
This easy guide features a handful of quick service options at Disneyland Resort, and most can be ordered on the Disneyland mobile app for even less waiting. It’s a work in progress, so I will definitely add to this along the way.
Eat Gluten Free at Disneyland Resort
If you’re looking to eat gluten free at Disneyland Resort, you don’t have to take my word for it. You can read Disneyland’s official word on all things gluten free here.
Here’s a brief round-up of what you need to know when heading to Disneyland on a gluten free diet.
- All Disneyland Resort restaurant teams are trained to handle dietary requests.
- Yes, you can absolutely dine at Disneyland Resort while maintaining a gluten free diet.
- When making dining reservations, there is a place to note any dietary concerns.
- Speak to the Cast Member greeting you at any dining establishment about your gluten free diet.
- At sit-down restaurants, the chef will come out and personally discuss your options.
“Disneyland Resort Food & Beverage team is committed to offering a wide range of options to accommodate Guests with food allergies or intolerances. When booking your dining reservations, please be sure to advise the Cast Member of your special dietary restrictions. If you book online, please make sure you include your dietary restrictions on each reservation. If you have already booked your reservations and you are not sure if you included the restrictions, please contact Disney Dine Line at (714) 781-DINE or (714) 781-3463. Guests are also welcome to speak to a Chef or a Manager on duty when arriving at the dining location.” -Disneyland Special Diets Team
A word of caution from Disneyland Special Diets Team, “Due to the large volume of meals we serve, vendors and suppliers occasionally swap out product. Therefore menu items and preparation is often updated.”
Just because you had a gluten free item in the past does not mean it will be gluten-free on your next visit. It’s always advised to consult the first Cast Member you meet upon dining arrival to discuss your concerns.
Gluten Free Food at Disneyland Park
This is not a comprehensive list, but serves as a guideline when planning a menu for gluten-free dining at Disneyland Park. Gluten Free Carts and Kiosks
These options will be the least gluten free friendly because there’s often not a Cast Member with the ability or knowledge on food ingredients. In general:

Gluten Free Disneyland Desserts
Disneyland Resort’s official statement on candy, desserts and kiosks states that it is possible to find products that list out ingredients on the label, it’s important to know “these locations have a high chance of cross contamination. Additionally, merchandise locations do not typically have Cast Members who are trained in the special dietary process.”
They further explain regarding vending carts and kiosks, “Our outdoor food carts and stands, the food items are prepared in very small kitchens and there is a high chance for cross-contamination of the food products at the kiosks. For that reason, special dietary offerings and requests are not available. Ingredient lists and food labels are available when you arrive at the locations and upon request.”
Gluten Free Special Menus
Disneyland Resort knows how to throw a party! Many times throughout the year, Disney hosts various events featuring some amazing food items. My favorite yearly event is Food & Wine Festival, but you’ll also find other events like Lunar New Year and Festival of Holidays that host gluten free food at Disneyland.
Not every gluten free festival or specialty food item returns each year but Disneyland continues to expand their gluten free menus every year.
Gluten Free Food Beyond Disneyland
My guess is your Disneyland vacation includes moments when you’re not inside the parks. I’ve gathered a few places nearby and ones you might run into during your trip to help you eat gluten free on the go.
In-n-Out has burgers “protein style” and is served without the bun. Fries are cooked in their own oil and are fresh cut, avoiding cross contamination.
Kayla’s Cakes kiosk in Dowtown Disney has amazing, delicious macarons that are marked gluten free.
The Pizza Press gluten free pizza dough available for an extra $2 on any pizza (trace gluten may be present). Read more details about The Pizza Press here.
Sprinkles cupcakes has gluten free treats every day at Downtown Disney!
Splitsville Luxury Lanes located at Downtown Disney offers more than a dozen gluten free food options, and you’ll want to dig into them all, including the spicy tuna roll pictured above.
