Element Anaheim Resort Convention Center is one of Disneyland Resort’s newest hotels welcoming you for an amazing vacation.
Element Anaheim is a Westin hotel under the Marriott brand. If you love the familiarity of Marriott brands when you travel and are looking for the same experience near area theme parks, Element should be on your list.
Element is designed to serve families and business guests during their visit to Anaheim. From traditional rooms, family suites, and free hot breakfast daily, there’s something for everyone.

Element adds to the many Marriott hotel choices within a 15 or minute walk to Disneyland. Here’s a quick recap of some of the closest and most popular Marriott options near Disneyland.
- JW Marriott means luxury. It’s the most expensive of all the Marriott brands in Anaheim.
- Anaheim Marriott Convention Center is next to the convention center and serves business guests.
- Courtyard Marriott Water Park is a higher price point but the huge water park is a pull for families.
- Residence Inn at Anaheim Resort Convention Center is for larger families by the Anaheim Convention Center.
Element by Westin Anaheim is the hotel we’re discussing here. It’s a top Marriott pick that’s close enough to walk to Disneyland without skimping on amenities.
I’ve stayed in nearly 20 Disneyland area hotels, and stayed here in February 2024. This hotel is set back from the main Harbor hub but has easy access to all things Disneyland.
Element Anaheim Location
The Element by Westin is located at 1600 S Clementine Street in Anaheim, California. Get to The Element quickly from John Wayne Airport (SNA) in about 30 minutes or less, depending on traffic.
Read more about the nearest airport here. In addition to the close proximity to Disneyland, other popular points of interest include Anaheim Garden Walk, House of Blues Anaheim, Angel Stadium of Anaheim, and more.
It is right next to SunCoast Hotel and shares a secure parking lot with them as well.
Around the corner from Harbor, you’ll see Disneyland Resort is about a 15-minute walk away. I like going north, parallel with the freeway on Manchester which loops around to Harbor. Book your stay here along with discount Disneyland tickets.
Is this hotel walkable?
Yes, Element is about a 15-minute walk to Disneyland and Disney California Adventure Park’s main gates. And how cute is the little footprint path they built to show you the way?
Here are the best ways to get to Disneyland from Element Convention Center:
- Walk. While it’s called “Convention Center” it’s not in the traditional convention center area, so don’t use that to map it out. It’s about a 15-minute walk to Disneyland. Head north on Manchester, then you’ll see the Matterhorn as you approach Harbor where you’ll take a left to the pedestrian crosswalk into Disneyland. Alternatively, you can go south on Clementine, head west on Disney Way, then north on Harbor.
- Uber it! For those headed to the Anaheim Convention Center, the walk will be about 15 minutes as well. For either destination, you can always grab an Uber and be there in minutes.
- ART Shuttle (Anaheim Rapid Transit) the stop is just outside on Clementine. It’s a one-time fee for your stay with access to and from Disneyland. The price is $6 per person at the time of publishing.
When you want a newer, upscale hotel with perks like free breakfast it pays off to stay a little bit farther from Disneyland, but still totally walkable.
Element Convention Center Guest Rooms
This Element Marriott brand hotel offers a fresh take on comfort and familiarity during your Disneyland vacation. Check room rates and make this your home away from home at Disneyland here.
Three of the most popular room types sleep 6-8 guests with kitchen areas and family suite living space to enjoy.
2 Queens and Sofa Bed and Bunk Bed Suite. This room comfortably sleeps 8 with two queen beds, one sofa pull-out bed, and a bunk bed.
This suite also has a bathroom with a shower, storage space, full kitchen with coffee maker, microwave, refrigerator, and freezer.
A partition wall or door separates the 2 queens from the sofa bed and bunk beds. These popular kid’s suites are some of the best set up in Anaheim with outlets and lights by each bed.
1 King and Sofa Bed and Bunk Bed Suite. This room comfortably sleeps 6 with one king bed, one sofa pull-out bed, and a bunk bed.
This suite also has a bathroom with a shower, storage space, full kitchen with coffee maker, microwave, refrigerator, and freezer. A partition wall or door separates the king bed from the sofa bed and bunk beds.
2 Queens and Sofa Bed Suite room has two queen beds one sofa pull-out bed. This suite also has a bathroom with a shower, storage space, small refrigerator, and kitchen area.
This hotel was a stand-out when I toured nearly 10 hotels in one day back in 2020 and still lives up to the hype in 2024. I love how it sleeps so many and there’s the king and bunk bed option. A family of 5 or more will fit really well here with the extra space and affordable room rate.
Element Anaheim Breakfast
Even with kitchen amenities in your room, you get access to a free hot breakfast buffet featuring American favorites.
The complimentary breakfast buffet has a full selection of eggs, pastries, waffles, yogurt, cereal, whole fruits, juices, coffee, and more.
During my stay I really enjoyed their breakfast offerings and wide variety of food.
Look at that delicious spread and variety!
Element Convention Center Bonus
The Element by Westin and Marriott might be a new-to-you brand and it’s a wonderful addition to Anaheim. Besides its proximity to Disneyland and all the fun in Anaheim, you’ll also enjoy more perks.

If you arrive before check-in, let the friendly staff take care of holding your luggage before you head over to Disneyland theme parks. They’ll do the same if you’re staying late at the parks when you check out.
Those familiar with the Westin or Marriott brand (or who want to be!) and who need a space large enough for your group, Element is a great choice near Disneyland Resort.
Final thoughts on Element Convention Center . . . this is one I’ll definitely be booking with my family. Often we visit Disneyland with a large group of extended family and need rooms to accommodate all of us. I have loved staying here on business trips too.
The price point and walkability beat out other competitors where we usually stay with large groups. Plus, who doesn’t love a newer hotel in Anaheim, especially with a brand name you trust?

Hi, Do you know how long it takes to Disneyland when you take the ART shuttle? And, how often do they have the shuttle? I tried to figure it out online, but the ART website is not helpful.
Hi there, taking ART will take longer than walking. That’s one of the reasons I avoid it. It stops along the way and sometimes the one that comes to you will be full.
We stayed there in November, and it was fantastic. The people at the front desk were always helpful, the rooms were huge, and a great configuration for me and my family – a separate living area with a Sleeper sofa, separated by a door from the main bedroom so my husband and I didn’t have to pretend to be asleep just to get the kids to sleep.
The breakfast was a very nice way to start our mornings and the walk was not bad at all.
We will definitely be staying there again.
I am so glad you enjoyed it at The Element. Such a great addition to the area.
