Best Budget Disneyland Hotels in Anaheim

You love saving and you love Disneyland, this article is for you—we’ve got the best budget Disneyland hotels in Anaheim. All hotels listed are Disneyland good neighbor hotels.

Do any of these phrases ring true for you?

  • We just need a place to sleep
  • We don’t care about the hotel room
  • We plan to spend all our time at Disneyland
  • We don’t need anything fancy
  • We don’t want to spend too much on a hotel
  • We normally spend about $100 a night on hotels for vacation (note it will be more for a Disneyland stay)

There are so many good neighbor hotels in Anaheim, it can quickly get overwhelming. They come in a huge range of pricing with plenty of luxury and moderate priced options.

Disneyland Budget Hotels

With the expansion of the Disneyland Resort area and popularity, it’s harder to find budget pricing and determine if these lower priced choices are right for your Disney trip.

Budget Disneyland Hotels Overview

Hotel price points are different for everyone. What one might consider budget pricing, another might see as out of their price range. Anaheim throws in a another twist. Because of the location near Disney Parks, it’s simply a lot more expensive. Budget property hotels tend to be higher than your regular budget hotel.

Keep that in mind when you see the price point on these “cheap” hotels. In this article I try to balance the price point and accommodations. Some hotels might not be within a typical budget price but the rooms and updates to the hotel reflect budget offerings.

Here are some of the best ways to save and stay near Disneyland. Hotels are listed in alphabetical order for easy scrolling.

The Anaheim Hotel

Desert Inn & Suites

Desert Inn & Suites is one hotel that has a huge fan-base. A lot of people book this hotel again and again. I was excited to tour it in 2021 to see what the fuss was all about. My conclusion: the fuss is a no-nonsense hotel at cheap rates, with a super short walk to Disneyland.

I have to say this hotel isn’t for me. I found it too dated and unappealing. One other criticism I’ve heard is it can get very noisy as the walls are thin. That being said, most hotels can be noisy and there are tons of people who love this hotel.
