Four Points by Sheraton Anaheim is such a California, classic style hotel. It’s near Disneyland Resort and while its address is on Harbor Blvd., the true area it is in is Ball Road.
You could walk from this hotel via Harbor Blvd, but it does require crossing over the freeway which isn’t my personal favorite. If I had a group of adults, I may consider it. But with little ones—I’m likely hopping on the ART shuttle.
- Walk or Drive: About a 20-minute walk to Disneyland’s main entrance via Harbor Blvd.

Anaheim Majestic Garden Hotel has long been a popular money-saving hotel near Disneyland Resort. Their expansive gardens, koi ponds (bigger than Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge!) and more offers a calming escape for many guests to roam, stroll and relax.
While the standard rooms could use a refresh in decor, the Castle Rooms are the ones you really want to stay in! The elevated, regal feel is such a nice touch extending that magical feeling you get at Disneyland.

SpringHill Suites Anaheim Maingate is an absolute winner, especially in this area of Ball Road. I love a good SpringHill Suites, it’s my go-to brand when I travel the U.S. with my family. It’s my baseline for everything with our crew of five.
I like SpringHill because it’s a standard Marriott property that, when refreshed, you know what you’re getting. And this property delivers.

Holiday Inn & Suites Anaheim
Holiday Inn & Suites Anaheim is another spot many people ask about—and get confused about. Because there’s another Holiday Inn nearby. Make sure you understand the difference between the two closest: the other one is Holiday Inn Express & Suites which I review here.
This Holiday Inn is pretty standard but will be getting a refresh very soon! Once that happens, I expect it will move up in guest satisfaction as well. This was the hotel we stayed at during the tours and it got an “okay” from us, but isn’t somewhere we’d stay on the regular.
But the one thing that does make it a stand out right now is the adorably cool Disney inspired suites they have!
