Best Western Plus Park Place Inn & Mini Suites
Best Western Plus Park Place Inn & Mini Suites Anaheim is the absolute closest hotel to Disneyland Resort on Harbor Blvd. There is nothing closer! The address is 1544 S. Harbor Boulevard, Anaheim, CA 92802. Here’s the view from the entrance to Disneyland property.
More about the location
Is this hotel walkable? Yes, Best Western PLUS Park Place Inn and Mini Suites is about an easy walk to Disneyland and Disney California Adventure Park’s main gates. You’ll get there in about 2 minutes. This great location is also less than 15 minutes to the Convention Center.
This particular Best Western is perfect for those who want to be as close as possible to Disneyland. I absolutely loved being such a short walk, in the snap of my fingers it felt like I was there and ready for bed. The only downside? Any street demonstrators with a megaphone can be heard from your room. It was so unpleasant for me I actually called the non-emergency Anaheim police department to find out about quiet hours (after 10 pm and before 7 am).
About the guest rooms
My room was refreshed, had modern decor and a larger size mini fridge than most area hotels. I chose a “mini suite” room which meant I had 2 queen beds and a couch bed. It is also the largest room type and can sleep up to 6 guests.
There is also a desk area in the hotel room which I used to write this very article. Their free wi-fi was fast and reliable as well, that’s always a plus when I am working while on property.
When you first open the door of this motel-style room you’ll have almost a complete look at the room with the vanity facing you on the other end. The shower/tub and toilet area are together and separated from the room and vanity by a door.
About the extras
The pool and hot tub area are small which is typical for the motel style hotels within this little section of Harbor Blvd. However, one big surprise is the variety at breakfast each morning. The huge spread had me super impressed, plus they start it early enough to allow you plenty of time to eat before walking to Disneyland.
There are to-go containers if needed, pastries, cereal, variety of prepared eggs, alternations of pancakes, waffles or French toast and more. Plus, there’s a coffee station in the lobby available 24/7. Going into the breakfast room my first morning was such a surprise. I didn’t expect this level of a meal from this hotel at all.
Best Western Plus Anaheim Inn
Best Western Plus Anaheim is also on Harbor Blvd, a few hundred steps from the Disneyland Resort. The address is 1630 S. Harbor Boulevard, Anaheim, CA 92802.
More about the location
Is this hotel walkable? Yes, Best Western PLUS Anaheim Inn is about a 5 minute walk to Disneyland and Disney California Adventure Park’s main gates. This location is less than 15 minutes to the Convention Center.
This particular Anaheim hotel is perfect for those who want to be as close as possible to Disneyland, but are still looking for a deal on their hotel. This hotel easily ranks 2nd in my book for Best Westerns.
About the rooms
Inside you’ll find a 2 queen room, very similar in set up to the first Best Western I reviewed. But comparing these two rooms side by side, it’s clear that this one isn’t as good as far as decor and freshness. The rooms here can sleep up to 4 guests and also offer free wifi.
The layout is familiar, as you open the door you can see almost the entire room with the vanity facing you on the other end. The shower/tub and toilet area are together and separated from the room and vanity by a door.
About the extras
The pool and hot tub area are small which is typical for the motel style hotels within this little section of Harbor Blvd.
If you skipped over the first review, one thing I don’t want you to miss about this hotel is the free hot breakfast each morning. The dining area is also very large and they can even rent it out during off-times for larger groups staying at the hotel.

Best Western Plus Pavilions
Now we’re moving on the other side of Disneyland Resort to take a look at Best Western Plus Plus Pavilions. These are the section of hotels located on Katella, along the pathway to the Disney hotels and then through Downtown Disney. The address is 1176 West Katella Avenue in Anaheim, CA 92802.
More about the location
Is this hotel walkable? Yes, Best Western Plus Pavilions is about a 15 minute walk to Disneyland and Disney California Adventure Park’s main gates via Downtown Disney. This location is less than 5 minutes to the Convention Center.
This particular Best Western is perfect for those who want to be close to Disneyland but don’t want to blow their budget. While the walk is longer than the two above, the walk has a very pleasant vibe to it. You’ll cross the street, then through beautifully maintained pathways with lush landscaping—all while seeing California Adventure Park off to the side.
From there, you’re routed to security screening near the Disneyland Hotel and make your way through Downtown Disney. It’s also an option to ride the Monorail from Downtown Disney to Tomorrowland or back at the end of the day.
About the rooms
Here you can book a two double room which can sleep up to 4 people, but remember doubles are slightly smaller than queens. I did feel the interiors at this Best Western were not as freshly updated as the two above, which is it comes in 4th. If I am sharing a double, I prefer to share with a little one. Or have it to myself of course. Furnishing and decor is bit dated. The smaller beds and decor make this location the last on my list for Best Westerns near Disneyland.
About the extras
The pool area is quite pretty here and has ample space, much more so than the Harbor neighbors.
Don’t sleep on these extras at Best Western Plus Pavilions:
- kids eat free with a paying adult at Denny’s next door
- free parking when you book with my travel partners
- complimentary breakfast for up to two (2) persons per day, “eat free” from a selected menu at the onsite Restaurant from 7:00am-10:00am
- Complimentary grab and go breakfast snack bag (water, apple and granola bar) also available for ALL guests from 6:00-10:00am in the hotel lobby
Best Western Plus Stovall’s Inn
Best Western Plus Stovall’s Inn is my 2nd choice for a stay near Disneyland in a Best Western. The address is 1110 West Katella Avenue, Anaheim, CA 92802.
More about the location
Is this hotel walkable? Yes, Best Western Plus Plus Stovall’s Inn is about a 15 minute walk to Disneyland and Disney California Adventure Park’s main gates via Downtown Disney. This location is less than 5 minutes to the Convention Center.
This particular Best Western is perfect for those who want to be close to Disneyland but don’t want to save some money for spending elsewhere. The Stovall’s family aims to bring the best guest experience to everyone here from the front desk staff to the maintenance team and everyone on their team.
While the walk is longer than the Habor hotels, it does have a very pleasant vibe to it.
This hotel has tons of variety when it comes to room types and some rooms can sleep up to 6 guests. Remember it is also a motel-style room so it is an exterior room entry. The basics get the job done here and serves as an excellent “I just need a place to sleep” hotel, along with free breakfast.
About the extras
There are two pools at this hotel which I love! More space to spread out is always a plus. They also have an adorable topiary garden that’s worth taking a stroll through all by itself. Don’t forget they also offer free breakfast to hotel guests.
You’ll also find extra savings when you book with my third party partner, Get Away Today Book your stay here along with discount Disneyland tickets now.
Final thoughts on Best Western . . . while I won’t be staying at Best Westerns frequently, I definitely think they are worth looking at. If clean rooms and lower price fits your needs and travel style, these could easily make your short list for booking. I also like looking through trip advisor photos so you can get candid shots from guests rather than the hotel owner photos.

We stay at the Best Western Plus Park Place. Being older, shortest walk is a plus. Never had a bad stay and recommend just because of the proximity to DL main gate.
It’s always wonderful to hear from other guests, I am so glad you have enjoyed your stays at Park Place!
