Thanks for these tips! I know you’ve mentioned elsewhere that some kids’ meals offer a veggie burger option—that would be a great addition to this article. Also, as I recall from my last visit, some of the stands sell cut-up veggies and hummus cups, which make for a very reasonable kid lunch on the go!
Thank you I am taking my son for his birthday gift in September 2019 and he has autism and I so glad they have chicken nuggets and Mac and cheese and French fries in the park now we don’t have to worry about food and just worry about having fun. Thank you?
That’s wonderful to hear! Another tip for you: on the Disneyland App, they’ve added tons of food photos under “order food” and/or “dining” so it might even be helpful to show him the food picture to see if it looks like the type he expects 🙂
Why don’t some of the menus show these simple kids items?
I have a child who will only eat certain things and these are some but i don’t want to make reservations if menus have changed.
example nuggets at carnation
Thank you for pointing that out. Menus do change frequently and I must have missed that one being removed or modified. Certainly check the menu closer to your vacation date to verify. If all else fails, you could always do a quick service order from somewhere nearby your reservation and bring it over for your little one.
Sad to see all junk food.
Michelle, you’re right. This article is more about the comfort foods kids request often. I put this together because it’s actually a little trickier than one would think to find these things at Disneyland Resort. If you’re looking for more of a healthier fare for your kids dining at Disneyland, I suggest my healthy eats at Disneyland and Weight Watchers Disneyland Guide. Happy planning!
What? Thank you for doing this leg work and sharing it with us newbies!!
Haha, no problem! I need my nuggets and fries too every once in a while (when I’m not having a corn dog of course).
I love this list! So helpful!
Thank you Sonja! I’ll be adding a printable version next week so check back if that interests you.
Thank you so much for your insight! I feel like every time we go to disneyland we are just winging it on food. We never know where to go or anything! I’m so grateful for your post.
You’re welcome Kaylee. There’s really so many options and I know exactly where you’re coming from. I used to wing the food too back in the day but I’ve found I eat way better when I check out menus and plan in advance. You might also like our other dining guides like 10 Disneyland Meals for $10 or even our Downtown Disney Dining Guide just to name a few. Let me know if you need any help planning. 🙂
This is top notch reporting! So great for parents! Thanks for doing the research!
You’re making me hungry!
I’d eat these items too! 🙂 Not just for kids.
