This review was originally published in 2016 when I stayed at Grand Legacy both during their remodel and after. My most recent stay was September 2018 and it’s time to go back for sure!
Grand Legacy at the Park is located at 11650 South Harbor Blvd. Anaheim, CA 92802.

Keep reading for all the details on Grand Legacy at the Park near Disneyland.
Since Grand Legacy at the Park is not a chain hotel, it’s helpful to compare it to other Disneyland area family hotels that are generally within the same price and value level. These options are all within a 15 or so minute drive to Disneyland.
- Best Western hotels in the area including Stovall’s and PLUS Pavilions on Katella in Anaheim.
- The Anaheim Hotel has great pricing and a huge pool near Disneyland.
- Camelot Inn & Suites that I’ve stayed at once on such a short overnighter that I was barely in room to write a review, but would stay at again.
Right on Harbor Blvd., a covered front driveway for check-in welcomes you as you walk in to the lobby complete with a custom mural that truly encompasses the feel of Disneyland.
I’ve stayed in nearly 20 Disneyland area hotels, and Grand Legacy at the Park was the first hotel I partnered with when creating this website, so many years ago.
Grand Legacy at the Park Location
Grand Legacy At The Park kills it with location; located at 11650 South Harbor Blvd. Anaheim, CA 92802.
I’ve stayed at other hotels that are “within walking distance” of Disneyland. That’s code for, “It’s totally walkable but pretty long with a crew of kids after a long day at Disneyland.”
Grand Legacy at the Park is minutes from Disneyland property. I walked back and forth several times for naps and breaks without a problem.
Is this hotel walkable?
Yes, there are few that beat Grand Legacy for their walking distance from your room to the parks.
Here’s the best ways to get to Disneyland from Grand Legacy at the Park:
- Walk. It’s truly so close, it’s the only option you’ll need.
- Uber it! Nah, no need it’s so close.
- Shuttle. Again, there’s no shuttle because there is no need it’s so close.
When you need close hotel with fresh updates and a great pool, Grand Legacy is calling you.
Grand Legacy Rooms
Grand Legacy’s newest tower puts you up front with the Disneyland magic and you can even reserve a park-facing room.
We stayed in a two room suite with 630 square feet of space and let me tell you, we made use of it all! The two room suites welcome you into a parlor area with a table for four, a couch with a pull-out bed, along with a chair and ottoman. We loved having this extra space to watch TV, relax or eat at the table.
We really appreciated how the bedroom area had ample space and storage for our family. The benches at the foot of the beds served as great place to set down backpacks and purses and store shoes underneath (just don’t leave them there when you check out like I did!).
I also loved the desk area and improved access to wireless Internet right in my room. You’ll also find a TV and mini fridge in your sleeping quarters—a huge plus when you’re bringing snacks and drinks into the parks. See what else I pack in my Disneyland bag here.
When you reserve a west-facing suite, you can even watch the Disneyland fireworks from the comfort of your own room. Since we arrived late on the night of check in, we opted to watch fireworks from our room snuggled up in pajamas.
As soon as the fireworks were over we tucked our kids into bed and enjoyed a little late night TV.
Notice all the people standing right below our room on the street waiting to catch the fireworks? There are a variety of rooms and prices at the hotel. I’ve personally stayed in 4 different room types here.
The interior is tastefully decorated with updated furnishings, window coverings and a complete remodel of the bathroom and vanity area. I’ve been to a lot of hotels where they just re-caulk or put new tile on top of old tile—this is not the case here.
I have an eye for detail when it comes to cleanliness. I cringe when I see a stray hair on the vanity (or anywhere else!) or dust and gunk around the base of the toilet.
My hotel room was spotless, and the bathroom was so clean (including the grout and base of the toilet) I even took a hot bath to relax. I was pleasantly surprised to find the tub a lot larger than most hotel bathtubs.
And for those larger groups, you truly can’t beat their prices on their 2 and 3 room suites.
Disneyland Rooftop Bar The Fifth
The FIFTH is definitely one of my favorite aspects to the new tower at Grand Legacy At The Park.
With live music and a view to match the vibe, The FIFTH is one spot you don’t want to miss.
On the street level of Grand Legacy’s new tower guests have quick access to food, other must-have items at and various quick eats.
Grand Legacy At The Park Bonus
Grand Legacy has been a staple of Anaheim for nearly 60 years. Today you will still find the amazing staff taking care of quick check-ins and valet parking when needed.
The excellent house keeping staff is ready to mail that cherished hand-made quilt from great-grandma back to you when realize it was left behind (yes, that was us!).
Add the comforts of home reflected in every room and you’re certain to have a wonderful Disneyland vacation.
Another thing that remains at Grand Legacy is their fabulous pool, named as one of our top water park pools near Disneyland. You can see their awesome pool in action below.
Grand Legacy At The Park also maintains an excellent value for their incredible location and accommodations. You’ll find rooms for large groups down to couple’s getaways and prices within your budget. Have you stayed with Grand Legacy At The Park?
