I’ve had many readers ask me about Wyndham Anaheim and I can finally give my review after staying there at the end of 2024.

The room was adequately equipped though I found the Queen beds to be on the smaller side. I think they were a hotel standard that is longer, but narrower than normal Queens we get at home.
If you’re looking for something in a similar price range with comparable options I would also consider Camelot Inn & Suites, Tropicana or Best Western.
Location
I’ve stayed in nearly 30 Disneyland area hotels, and sometimes get spoiled by proximity. I told my daughters this one was a bit of walk.
When they saw the spot they said, no this is close—no big deal. That happens when you’re so used to something else. You need a fresh perspective.
When I walked to Disneyland after a nap, I took a phone call and ended the call at security—it was a 7 minute call. Pretty nice.
Wyndham Anaheim is one city block to Disneyland Resort’s main gates. Located at 515 West Katella Avenue in Anaheim, CA 92802. It might take you a bit longer to walk with a group or a stroller, but it’s truly not far. 
And like I mentioned, it’s close enough to Disneyland, allowing for back and forth trips for naps or swim breaks during the day.
Wyndham Anaheim’s nearest airpot is John Wayne Airport (SNA) or Long Beach (LBG) is also an option, both about 30 minutes or less, depending on traffic.

Yes, Wyndham Anaheim is about a 10-12 minute walk to Disneyland. 7 minutes if you’re fast!
Here’s the best ways to get to Disneyland from the Wyhdham:
- Walk. A great benefit to this hotel is location. It’s only about a 10-12 minute walk to Disneyland. Head left out of your hotel, then left again to go north on Harbor where you’ll be at Disney property in no time at all.
- Uber it! If you have someone with mobility issues, you might consider paying a few dollars for an Uber. It’ll likely take you longer than walking, but could be worth delaying any discomfort.

Guest Rooms
Wyndham brings basic comfort during your Disneyland vacation. There are several room types like your standard 2 Queen Room and a 2 Queen, Sofa Bed Deluxe Family Room.
I stayed in the 2 Queen Room with 3 adults and while sharing a bed wasn’t the easiest, it did work.
We liked that the room had plenty of mirrors and outlets for 3 ladies getting ready each morning.
Our room had a nice size mini fridge with two complimentary water bottles upon arrival.
We also had the basics like towels, blow dryer, shampoo, conditioner and soap.
They even had a full size hand sanitizer in the room, but no body lotion. I was disappointed about that since I left my own behind.
Bonuses
Onsite you’ll find a Starbucks in the lobby, an outdoor pool kept at an ideal temperature for year-round use, a fitness center, water refill stations on select floors, ample under ground parking, an onsite restaurant and a friendly staff with daily cleaning service.
The price for a holiday visit was right for us and I am glad we tried it. In fact, as I am looking at the Get Away Today booking page for this hotel right now, they show 97% of guests recommend this hotel. Nice!
