I’ve eaten at La Brea several times, sometimes as an invited guest which means La Brea pays for my meal, but more times than not I foot the bill. And there’s a few reasons I keep coming back.
La Brea Bakery Downtown Disney Quick Info
Many dining locations at Downtown Disney offer both a quick service and a sit-down, dine in option. Some menu items are the same on each side, but the sit down offerings tend to be a bit more extensive.
La Brea Bakery Cafe is located inside the shopping and dining district at Disneyland Resort. Downtown Disney is a popular spot for dining on arrival day, departure day or just for a day out of shopping, eating and even special date nights.

La Brea Bakery Disneyland Menu
Brunch is available until 3:00pm and the portions are large. At times, we have split two entrees for breakfast one between four of us and still had food left over! La Brea Bakery is pen for brunch, lunch and dinner see the Express menu here and dine in here.
There are hot and cold options made fresh to order, or grab something simple to take with you into the parks if you arrive after they open, which is usually later than park opening.
If you’re not tempted by their huge brunch selection, you’ll find the dinner options (served from lunch to close) just as impressive.
My kids are pretty predictable when it comes to eating out. They typically get something off my list of top 10 Disneyland kid meals, like mac and cheese or pizza.
At La Brea Bakery, they stuck to their staples but were just as impressed. We’ve also tried the chicken Alfredo, a large and satisfying meal.
I ordered the club sandwich which was perfect for a hot summer day. I guess I shouldn’t pick on my kids for ordering the same things at every different restaurant because I think I do the same thing! I can’t resist a good club sandwich.
I also ordered a delicious and refreshing drink off their summer special menu. It was gone in a flash and was much more mild than the specialty drinks offered inside Disneyland Park and California Adventure Park.
I usually find those too sweet to finish, but this one hit the spot.
