I am often invited by the restaurants in Downtown Disney to try their food, but this visit was not one of them. I have dined at Tortilla Jo’s on multiple occasions and have paid for my meal every time. It’s a great go-to spot with delicious eats.

Tortilla Jo’s is located inside the shopping and dining district at Disneyland Resort. Downtown Disney is a popular spot for dining on arrival day, departure day or just for a day out of shopping, eating and even special date nights.
You do not need a ticket to Disneyland to enjoy strolling and eating in Downtown Disney and parking is free with validation from many locations.

I’ve dined at Tortilla Jo’s for lunch, dinner and take out, but breakfast at Taqueria is on my list. Tortilla Jo’s is a Downtown Disney classic that’ll get you your Mexican food fix.

I love when our family orders an assortment of food so I can try a bite of everything! I remember my first time there I had a delicious quesadilla with fresh corn tortillas and now we make corn tortillas fresh at home, we even got a tortilla press!
To start you must order Guacamole Haas Avocados, Onions, Tomatoes, Cilantro, Chile Serranos, Lime Juice, prepared to your liking. From here, I’d usually go for a shared plate of nachos but I also like to try different items every so often.
I chose Tacos de Carne Asada Grilled Steak with Adobo Sauce and Onion-Cilantro Mix. You can’t go wrong with carne asada tacos! Yum.
We also ordered Mexican Caesar Salad with Grilled Steak. Romaine Lettuce, Cherry Tomatoes, Chipotle Caesar Dressing, Corn Tortilla Strips, Toasted Pepitas, Cotija Cheese.
My sister ordered Baja Ceviche. Wild Mexican Shrimp, fresh Market Fish, Cucumber, Lime Juice, Serrano Chile, Onion, Cilantro, Avocado.
I should probably write an article of the best burgers and Mac and cheese at Disneyland, but this top kid meals at Disneyland should do the trick.
Tortilla Jo’s Downtown Disney Drinks
Tortilla Jo’s has a full and their Margarita list is extensive. As a non-drinker, I always sample the non-alcoholic drinks. I had a mocktail Mojito and it wasn’t the best.
Sometimes it really just depends on who’s making it because they can get thrown by the off-menu request.
