Holiday Inn is a nationally recognized name, so it’s an easy option when you’re looking for familiarity and a moderate property to stay at during your Disneyland trip.
Quick Info

- Holiday Inn Anaheim check-in time: 3:00 pm
- Holiday Inn Anaheim check-out time: 11:00 am
The rooms are pretty standard decor, if you’re in a standard room. They are getting ready for an update so keep an eye out for that later in 2025.
But, they do have some really cute and cool Disney themed rooms like Mickey Mouse, Star Wars and more! Those ones are really worth booking!
If you’re looking for something in this same area near Ball Road and close to the Mickey and Friends parking structure, I suggest SpringHill Suites Anaheim Maingate and possibly Four Points by Sheraton Anaheim.
Location
I’ve stayed in nearly 30 Disneyland area hotels, and sometimes get spoiled by proximity. I prefer the Harbor Blvd. area hotels as more of a hub of hotels. But this is in a different area as shown in the map below.
However, there are a few gems around this side of the Disneyland Resort as well, which shouldn’t be left out, including Holiday Inn & Suites.
When checking in, the front desk will also gladly explain how to get to Downtown Disney from the hotel which is the easiest route to the theme parks. Once inside, you’ll feel immediately immersed in the Disney bubble and can take the monorail into Disneyland Park or continue walking to the main gates.
Holiday Inn & Suites Anaheim is, in total about a 30 minute walk to Disneyland Resort’s main gates. Located at 1240 South Walnut in Anaheim, CA 92802. It might take you a bit longer to walk with a group or a stroller, so keep that in mind.
Holiday Inn & Suites’ nearest airpot is John Wayne Airport (SNA) or Long Beach (LBG) is also an option, both about 30 minutes or less, depending on traffic.

Is this hotel walkable?
Yes, Holiday Inn & Suites Anaheim is about a 30 minute walk to Disneyland. 15 minutes to Downtown Disney’s monorail. But you can also choose to park in Mickey and Friends right next door and take the tram up to the front gates.

- Park at Mickey and Friends. Since parking is right next door, you can get there quickly and hop on the tram to the main entrance.
- ART or Uber it! If you have someone with mobility issues, you might consider paying a few dollars for an Uber. It’ll likely take you longer than walking, but could be worth delaying any discomfort. You can also catch the ART shuttle for a small fee nearby.
