Avengers Campus at Disneyland Resort
Disneyland Resort’s struggle with ways to incorporate the newly acquired heroes into their parks began in 2009, but it all comes together at Avengers Campus in California Adventure Park.
In years past, Captain America and other Marvel characters had short-term homes in Disneyland’s Tomorrowland and inside the short-lived Super Hero HQ.
In 2016, Marvel meet and greets were moved to California Adventure’s Hollywood Land and expanded once Guardians of the Galaxy: Mission Breakout! arrived on the scene.
Now with Avengers Campus all things Marvel can be found in the new land. Check the Disneyland App for character sightings and shows, happening now.
What’s New in Avengers Campus
Disneyland Resort Avengers Campus opened in June 2021 and is now accessible to all guests. And it keeps evolving according to new MCU releases on the big screen and Disney+.
Here’s what is new in Avengers Campus Right Now
An all new Avengers musical will debut in Hyperion Theater summer 2023. The short, one-act musical will be based on “Rogers: The Musical.”
If that sounds familiar, it’s probably because you watched Hawkeye on Disney+. Or maybe like me, when they performed a live song at D23 Expo, you thought it was the announcement of the show. But it turned out you just hadn’t watched Hawkeye. And now they’re finally making the announcement official.
In short, the fictional Broadway musical for Hawkeye takes you through the life of the first Captain America, Steve Rogers. But now, it’s becoming a real musical for the Hyperion. I am stoked!

I love seeing how alive and active the land is. The Spider Man attraction is similar to Buzz Lightyear and Toy Story but with all new tech. It’s super fun and a really good arm work out.
By the end of the ride my arms were so tired I decided to see how many Spider-Bots I could catch by doing the Macarena. It was a good time.

Avengers Campus Merch
In the past, it’s the girly Disney Princesses that have all the fun, but with Avengers joining the Disney team, we’ve seen just how SUPER everyone can be at the Disneyland Resort.
Here’s a few of my favorite Super Hero merch to wear to Avengers Campus or have around the house when you need a super pick-me-up.
WEB Suppliers
WEB Suppliers where you can build a custom remote control Spider-Bot with powers and styles from your favorite Super Heroes. It’s very reminiscent of Droid Depot at Galaxy’s Edge where you pick your parts and assemble a bot exactly to your specifications.
Spider-Bots are on the loose!! Spider-Bots and the latest WEB apparel from Avengers Campus will be available soon in the all new land.
These superhero sidekicks aren’t any trouble at all, they actually help protect their neighborhood. Get ready to be in control of all the action and battle opponents with programmed combat and defensive skills.
Spider-Bots can “crawl backward and forward, crouch, spin, stare down with their laser eyes, attack opponent Spider-Bots and even blast off their shields” says Disney Parks Blog.
