Harbor Blvd Good Neighbor Hotels
In August 2023, I took a walk down Harbor and toured the closest Disneyland Good Neighbor hotels. Not all Harbor hotels are listed here but these are some highlights you don’t want to miss.
Courtyard Anaheim Theme Park Entrance
Outside of Disneyland, I almost always go for Marriott brands, especially ones that work really well for our family of five, and this one has bunk beds! If you’re loyal to Marriott brands this Disneyland good neighbor hotels is your best bet. And if you’re looking for the best family hotel within walking distance to Disneyland—this is absolutely it.
My Favorite Perks:
- Sleeps 6 in every room, 2 queen beds and 1 bunk bed set
- 2 showers in every room, plenty of get-ready space
- Surfside Waterpark with 30-foot waterslides, drench bucket, swimming pools and large hot tub
- Fitness Center
- Nighttime waterslides and firework views

Anaheim Camelot Inn & Suites
Anaheim Camelot Inn & Suites is an iconic Disneyland area hotel, with refreshed rooms and a classic castle look. If you’ve ever driven down Harbor Blvd or walked from another nearby hotel, chances are this one caught your eye. I have personally stayed here and recommended it to family members who have stayed here. An excellent, short walk choice.
My Favorite Perks:
- Sleeps up to 7 with 1 king, 2 queens and 1 sofa bed with 2 queens and 1 sofa bed
- Family suites have separate sleeping areas with a real door in between
- Nighttime firework views from balcony or the pool deck

Tropicana Inn & Suites
Tropicana Inn & Suites is the absolute closest hotel I recommend to my readers. It sits right at the pedestrian crosswalk allowing you to be inside Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California in minutes. It’s so close and in other areas would be considered such a budget stay, but I never find the price to be a match with my expectations. Still, I would love to have the chance to stay here and sleep it out for a full personal recommendation.
My Favorite Perks:
- Sleeps up to 5 with 2 queens and 1 sleeper chair
- Right at the pedestrian crosswalk
- Nighttime firework views from sidewalk or outdoor pool
Get Away Today Exclusives and Other Perks:
- Walking distance to restaurants
- Some rooms have small kitchens
- Complimentary WiFi
- Reduced Rates

Best Western PLUS Park Place Inn & Mini Suites
Best Western is a familiar name and there are so many near Disneyland Resort to choose from. Their names are very similar so be sure you double check the name and address before booking. The mini suite of this one denotes a pull out sofa, not a kitchen. This Best Western is the closest of all Good Neighbor hotels to Disneyland.
My Favorite Perks:
- Mini-suites sleep up to 6 with 2 queens and 1 sleeper sofa or chair
- Larger size mini fridge
- Complimentary breakfast each morning
- Special rates if you’re not bringing a car
Get Away Today Exclusives and Other Perks:
- Walking distance to Resort
- Free Breakfast
- Reduced Rates

Best Western Plus Anaheim Inn
The second Best Western is on the list and it’s another on Harbor Blvd. And again it includes the word “plus” which makes it so confusing. Maybe better to refer to it as Anaheim Inn? Idk, what do you think?
My Favorite Perks:
- Sleeps up to 5 guests
- Microwave and mini-refrigerator
- Outdoor swimming pool
- Super close to Disneyland
Get Away Today Exclusives and Other Perks:
- Reduced Parking Fee ($10 per night savings)
- Free Resort Fee ($5 per night savings)

Grand Legacy at the Park
This used to be my go-to. Now don’t worry about me saying “used to be.” I stayed there a ton, then started realizing how much fun I have reviewing and staying everywhere near Disneyland. This was one of my kids’ favorites when they were younger, too. I also love that this is a family owned Good Neighbor hotel.
My Favorite Perks:
- Sleeps up to 5 in their premier rooms, my favorite choice of all of them
- Multiple hotel room types to choose from
- The FIFTH OC on the rooftop for eats and drinks
- Zero entry pool and splash zone
Get Away Today Exclusives and Other Perks:
-
- Rooftop restaurant
- 5 minute walk to the Resort
- Reduced Rates

Hilton Good Neighbor Hotels
I love the new dual-brand Hilton hotel built near Disneyland Resort in 2021. A dual-brand hotel is essentially two hotels under one roof, with select separate guest experiences under the brands you love.
There are larger communal areas and distinct dining areas—each catering to the needs of family and business guests. I’ve stayed here a few times and recommended it to my cousin who now makes this her regular area hotel.
- Hilton Garden Inn, new in mid-2021 about a 10 minute walk tucked behind Harbor Blvd.
- Home2 Suites by Hilton, new in mid 2021 a dual brand hotel about a 10 minute walk tucked behind Harbor Blvd.
- Homewood Suites by Hilton Anaheim Resort Convention Center
-
Doubletree Suites by Hilton Anaheim Resort – Convention Center
Hyatt Good Neighbor Hotels
- Hyatt House Anaheim Convention Center, this type of hotel is a great choice for larger families, along with similar set ups in other brands. The walk is a bit farther than I’d like but it’s a good spot and lots of comfort.
- Hyatt Place at Anaheim Resort, across the street from the Toy Story free shuttle to Disneyland Resort including Downtown Disney. It’s also near the convention center.
Disneyland Good Neighbor Hotel Map
This Disneyland Good Neighbor Hotel map is constantly growing and expanding to the surrounding area. I’ve included only my favorite area for staying at Good Neighbor Hotels to help you narrow down the search.

What is a Disneyland Good Neighbor Hotel
Many people assume they have to book a good neighbor hotel in order to get a good Disneyland deal. Or that somehow a good neighbor hotel means it’s a better property. Some of that is true, but here are a few interesting facts you might like to know:
- Disneyland Good Neighbor Hotels are located near the Anaheim theme parks
- There are more than 50 good neighbor hotels surrounding Disneyland Resort
- Good Neighbor hotels are not Disney-owned or operated
- A Good Neighbor designation means Disney has a business (read financial) relationship with them
Many good neighbor hotels are not name brands, but they are staples in the Disneyland Resort area. These hotels have made a local name for themselves. Here are a few other Good Neighbors I haven’t covered in this article but have resources for you here:
- The Anaheim Hotel, one of my go-to hotels on a budget. Close by, clean and a great team at the hotel that I work with often
- Anaheim Portofino Inn & Suites, see my review here
- Cambria Hotel & Suites, another great waterpark hotel
- Candlewood Suites Anaheim Resort Area, my review here
- Castle Inn & Suites and it has free parking
- Clementine Hotel & Suites Anaheim
- Cortona Inn & Suites Anaheim Resort
I love saving money on my Disneyland vacations and every bit counts. When you use this link to book a Disneyland vacation package (at least 2 tickets and a 2 night hotel stay).
